You can turn on the Power saving mode swiping down the quick settings panel and tapping on the Power mode icon. Alternatively, you can also enable power saving mode by following the steps below.
- Go to Settings
- Tap on Device care
- Tap on Battery
- Tap on Power mode
By default, your phone is set to Optimized mode which gives a healthy mix of battery life and functionality. However, if you want to save more power, you can choose from the following power saving modes.
- Medium power saving: Disables certain power hungry features
- Maximum power saving: Disables most features to reduce battery drain to the minimum
Select the power saving mode you want to use and tap Apply to enable.
You can also turn the Adaptive power saving on to allow your phone to set power mode automatically. With this feature enabled, your phone will learn your usage pattern and then will turn on battery saving automatically to save power when it’s not needed.
